Donald comes with over three decades of experience in the field of business, with a particular focus on financial management, compliance and governance. As the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, Donald leads our financial planning and risk management processes. He ensures that Cognitio Services has the capacity and skill set at all times to fulfil both our contractual and moral obligations to our clients. Donald considers work as a hobby and firmly believes in the notion of enabling social change through our organisation’s business activities within the education sector.

In addition to his responsibilities at Cognitio Services, Donald serves as the Managing Director of Inglis Charted Accountants and as the Finance Director of Fusion eCare Solutions Limited. Donald is also a Governor of York College and serves as the Chair of the Finance and General Purpose Committee.

Donald is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. In terms of academic qualifications, Donald holds an MSc in Agriculture Development and a Post Graduate Diploma in Farm Business Organisation and Management, both from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
